Headboard Frames

Think custom framing is just for art? Think again! Here's a clever way of customizing your personal retreat in a way you might not have thought of. Create a headboard that's just your style.

Love how this "headboard" follows the roof line.
It draws your eye to the most interesting architectural feature of the room.

Make a Memory Wall

You've heard us say it before: We've framed just about everything. One of the most meaningful ideas we work with is to frame a collection. Collections have impact, but the best part is the story they tell. They're true conversation starters.

Plus, putting something three dimensional on your wall is a bit unexpected. It goes outside the boundaries of traditional artwork to give depth to your focal points. And a collection can be made of almost anything! They can go well beyond postcards, baseball cards and stamps. Here are a few ideas of interesting collections that we hope will inspire you to display some memories of your own....

Vintage Button Pins - arrange them in the shape of an initial or a heart.

This idea would work well for buttons or stamps, too.

Frame a Vintage Bathing Suit or other piece of clothing from your family's past.
A Christening Gown or a Boy Scout Uniform make a lovely memory.

The Art of Framing

We're always talking about how framing makes everything look better. Here's a good example. Whether it's vintage wallpapers or your favorite complimentary fabrics, a grouping like this makes a statement. Plus, it can be an economical way of procuring "art."

So... what kind of statement will you make?

Sneaky Gift Ideas

When you think of the holidays, you think of family, togetherness, and giving. But let's be honest... it's also a time of sneaking around. You're finding the right gifts for the right people, and sometimes that means doing a little bit of stealing. That's right, you heard us, we said "stealing!" Ok, maybe what we really mean is borrowing. As in you borrow your husband's treasured childhood Boy Scouts Uniform, bring it to us, and we frame it up, complete with a cute little snapshot of him as a boy, wearing it proudly.

We've aided and abetted many framing jobs over the years, from christening gowns to wedding gowns, sports gear to silverware, antique purses to poetry verses. Whatever your inspiration, think of us as your accomplice in your next picture framing caper!

All in the Family

We frame a lot of family photos, and we love nothing better than to see an inspirational display. We came across these and couldn't help but drool just a little. Notice the difference in width between the different gold frames. And we're suckers for mixing frame finishes - the black and silver are downright striking!
